An Overview

 

1.     Your 10-15 minute phone call to provide information for us to calculate the funds available to you.

2.    Receive our follow-up phone call indicating the details of the loan that is customized to your individual needs.

3.     Meet with Stu to review your Loan package, or receive it  via Overnight mail.      

4.     We will have an FHA approved Loan Counselor call you to arrange the 20-30 minute phone counseling session with you (your cost is $ 95 - $125).   Sorry, the Federal Government will no longer pay for counseling.   The counselor will answer any additional questions you have and make sure you understand the Reverse Mortgage program.

5.     Upon receipt of an Original Counseling Certificate from the Counselor, you would return the application package and requested documents to process your loan.

6.     Wait for your Loan Commitment and then the Closing Date.

 

Loan Documentation

 

Loan Docs. for a Reverse Mortgage are simple:

    Copy of Drivers license and Social Security Card or Medicare Card

    Copy of the Deed to your property (we may be able to get this on the internet for you)

    If applicable:   Copy of your most recent mortgage statement

    If applicable:   Copy of your entire trust agreement

    If applicable:    Contact information for your property insurance

    If applicable:    Copy of the Survey to your property

    If a Condo:        Completed Condo Questionnaire we provide to your Board of Directors or Management Company
