Mediation Fees
The hourly rate for Mediation Services is $ 180 for 2 parties, divided equally. The hourly rate for 3 or more parties is $ 90 per party. The minimum billable time frame for a mediation is 2 hours at an attorney’s office.
It is our goal to offer Mediation Services at the convenience of the parties in their local area. To minimize total costs, we will conduct the mediation at one of the attorney’s offices, or in the convenience of our offices in Boca Raton or Boynton Beach. If a neutral office location is required, outside of these areas, we will provide this and the cost will be divided among the parties.
No charge for postponed or cancelled mediations if actual notice is received at least 2 business days before the mediation, otherwise a one-hour fee ($ 180) will be charged to the party cancelling. There are no set-up or preparation fees for pre-mediation review.
Foreclosure Mediation Fees are generally paid by the Lender and not the Homeowner.
There are no travel fees for mediations conducted in Palm Beach (15th Circuit Court) or Broward Counties (17th Circuit). A travel fee of $ 50-150 applies to the following counties and Circuit Courts:
